I dont think Florida is considered low country but they eat Conch too.
That's odd. I live in Atlanta now and when I tell people conch is my favorite food most of them have never heard of it.

Maybe it's more common on the coast

i love snail, my relative took me to some vodoo doctor and he or her cant remember told me never to eat snail im forbidden. i ate it again anyway, wish i had some now to wash it down with some gari. :banderas:

European countries do eat it, its called escargot.
We still don't eat snail here in the US :mjlol:

Snails are delicious, taste and consistency between meat and mushrooms :yeshrug:

I've tried to cook conch before, but I always ended up overcooking it and turning it to rubber :francis:
