Black people did stick together once upon a time, 400 years of oppressors pitting Blacks against other Blacks and destroying their history at the same time ruined all of that.

A slave mentality resulted from being raised in a white dominated society. They perceive black as being inferior, so they want to compete with it, dominate it, and challenge it. This is why black people hate on each other, kill each other, bleach their skin, act white, distance themselves from black culture etc. etc.
That's what happens when you're brought to this country and treated as an animal and 3rd class citizen for the majority of your stay here. Also having white standards of beauty and standards of conduct, because when you go somewhere and wipe out the natives and claim the land as being yours, you can establish whatever standards you want. Especially if you keep the remaining people docile and complacent with your white jesus religion bs.

If you choose to hate your own kind, whose fault is that? Who's responsible for that? In this time, decade, era, year...2014 who is inevitably responsible for not wanting to stick together?

But let's not sit here and pretend that this society created from slavery onward and maintained by racist whites today haven't had an effect on the black population contributing to many blacks who don't want to stick together and instead want to please the white racists.
