Why don't blacks stan Russell Wilson a bit more

There are a ton of quarterblacks to spread the love around to. Good problem actually considering the era we just came out of with McNabb and Vick.

Last year during the playoff run, a lot of my family members (people who were stanning Cam Newton, Mike Vick, RGIII, etc) hadn't even heard of Russell Wilson as he was making his way through the playoffs. "He's black?" the would ask.

This year, reading the Coli, RWIII is the least talked about of all the black quarterbacks even though he may end up being the best.

It's not about his wife either, people still support RGIII.

Is it because he plays in Seattle?

- BTW, I am not saying every black fan should support every black QB, but given what people are actually doing, the lack of Wilson stanning is interesting

It's probably been said in here, but:
A. RGIII plays in DC.....tons of black ppl there

Aside from that....
B. he almost looks like an Indian boy....even I didn't know what he was at first. And some ppl root based on that.
C. he's not an "exciting" player like an RGIII is.
D. He plays in Seattle, not exactly a market with a history of NFL fan favorites

All that said, I'm a huge fan of dude and have liked him going back to NC State.

i think he can be exciting at times. he gets so close to getting sacked and squirms out of it so often
