Why don’t brehs with patchy beards just shave that shyt?

My beard grows out full, but i want it to connect. So far, my left side is connected (its thin but its there) im still waiting on my right side to connect (hopefully). Ill give it a couple more months before i say its a wrap.

If I cut it, I get ingrown hairs and I look like a child
