Why don't Jamaicans donate their organs?

I'm a donor but I'm thinking about changing it because I heard students use bodies to practice plastic surgery. fukk that.

The Black market organ selling market is very real. Sometimes your shyt won't even go to save someone's life, just be used as a dissection for med class
I guess we're going to start out with the assumption that most Jamaicans aren't organ donors.

From what I was told by a friend of mine whose husband is a doctor was this...
"You better get that Organ Donor off of your license ASAP!"
Me: "Why?"
"My husband told me that they don't try to save you if you are a donor...like really really try to because it's money in it for the hospital if you die via transplant patients. So trust me...he's been a doctor for 15yrs and he's seen if first hand and told everyone he knew to get that off of their license"

Science is science.I'm a donor but I'm thinking about changing it because I heard students use bodies to practice plastic surgery. fukk that.
Besides, plastic surgery started out and is still used to REPAIR faces of people who have been disfigured beyond repair by accidents and burns. I know someone who got +90% of his body in a car that caught fire. He's my cousin's ex husband. They had to use tissue from his butt to replace the tissue he lost in his jaw and facial cheeks. Like it or not practicing plastic surgery is what will help medicine perfect the science of plastic surgery for people who NEED it like children born with deformities and so on.
Sure we may frown upon people who just use it to change thier looks like little Kim but you gotta understand that THAT IS WHAT PAYS. All the research and the fascilities used to perfec the science COST MONEY. The science has to survive. Anything that doesnt make money will eventually die. It has t make money. If it didnt make money the best and brightest surgeons wouldnt have no interest in it and would apply their talents at something else.
