Cuz Despite how much you stans loooove to relate to them. These nikkas aint STARS in the slightest form. They jus some regular nikkas who rap. No Swag. No Flair. No Wit. No Humor. No appeal. Got damn, the game need some Harlem nikkas right bout now :wow:
Thank the internet.
Im happy that the net gives some nikkas alternative ways to make money, so they dont have to work a BS 9-5 making another man rich, or gotta be out hustlin, but for HIP HOP, its more negative than positive.

Honestly, a lot of y'all are romanticizing the past. Pac was a great interview. Wu Tang did good interviews, Eazy-E, etc. However, a lot of legends gave boring interviews. Snoop was always with his head down, Jay seemed scared, Nas wasn't polished, Biggie gave short answers, so I think a lot of it has to do with getting comfortable in the industry. Once people gain that comfort, you will see them give better interviews. It's that simple.

those were the most cringeworthy interviews...just nikkas with a camera....a rapper smoking and/or on the corner looking bored and annoyed...i used to feel bad for the interviewer

"so yo...like........what's up.......with you and so and so"

"blah blah blah it ain't real beef i aint got no animosity towards son"

"that's what's up that's what's up...so yo....is there.....like....animosity between you two or could yall peace it out on the phone?"

":upsetfavre:"

"yo so..that's what's up that's what's up....so....umm....tell us what features you got on your album again?"
LMAOO word. Worst interviews ever

These new nigggas aint bosses. They care too much about saying the right thing and not steppin on anyones toes, because they scared to get blackballed r have nikkas not fucc with them or whatever.
Rappers bacc then grew up in a different era. Them nikkas was gonna eat regardless if this rap siht worked out r not. Rappers nowdays rely on everyone else to help them eat, back then nikkas was gonna make money regardless if they was politically correct or not because they were REAL hustlers. Not rich kids from toronto or broke nerds from compton and harlem

there's not enough money in the rap game now to speak your mind anymore. ye and 50 and wayne can do it because they're already rich.

But as far as these New Rappers go, the jury is still out on them...

back in the day the interviewers were from the streets so rappers bounced off the energry and gave good interviews. nows its complex and gq asking wack questions

breakfast club has the best interviews right now.

And that's because Charlamagne will ask whatever.

Nardwuar is so far from 'the streets' it isn't even funny but the guy does a lot of deep research. A number of interviewees seem like they hit the artists wikipedia page and scroll through their twitter timeline like 30 minutes before it starts.

Media game fukked up too... Music industry had to figure out how to even make stars out of people, now we gotta refigure out how to promote them.

I agree. Breakfast Club and Noisey are doing the best interviews right now. And they are not doing a good job, people are just starved for artist interaction.
