Why don’t people speak anymore?

People are annoying. The last time I rode the metro a guy followed me all the way from one end of the platform to the next. Then made it a point to sit next to me on the train.

I had headphones on and could still hear him. I pointed at the headphones without taking them off. And he got big mad and then started talking to somebody else asking for directions. We were sitting next to the big ass metro map.

Nobody has time for shenanigans.

There's a maintenance guy at my building I happen to see on my way out in the mornings most days. Usually say "Good Morning" "Have a good one" and keep it moving. Past few times I've greeted him, he seemed annoyed and ignored me. It's not like I'm forcing a convo just acknowledging the man in passing. lol

How about having morals and strong character as a whole? How about some self respect and removing reckless sex from the table as an option. How about getting married?

How about pre planning to have kids? How about discussion family net worth, family values, mental health and family health history?

I agree. I just found it funny how ppl are going through too much to give a headnod, but no one considers that when using or scamming ppl. He seemed to have a misplaced version of empathy.

why you so desperate to interact with strangers? why aren't you empathic enough to understand that maybe strangers are going through stuff or maybe they're focused on something important? Like these types of thread are passive aggressively selfish. you want strangers to change some behavior to make you feel better. Like, i don't want to have to tell you to get over yourself, but...

Overall I hear your pov. A good friend my cousin's ex fiancee was murdered in the neighborhood. He was a friendly white guy with a degree hopes and dreams. I personally ain't slacking a minute. I'm sure gonna make it back to the burbs. His parents went through it at his funeral. Seeing that messed me up.
