It used to be good shows broke 20 million every week, now 10 million is a struggle.

Streaming is that big of a deal now?

I watch broadcast tv when there's something to watch. Abbott Elementary is a good show so far, so I'll stay tuned. La Brea is captivating. I hated when they went to 95% reality shows though.

2. Most of the shows are ass and been replaced by "prestige TV" that can do TV-MA
3. streaming platforms
4. internet/other forms of entertainment

Same or something I was highly anticipating and I was able to plan around watching it. And that's rare so I am either watching streaming or DVRed stuff.

If I want to watch a new show that releases weekly, I don't even watch it when it premieres anymore.

I wait until 4-5 episodes build up.

Funny I'm watch CBS shows online with family. and they are straight trash. Same type of comedy I saw as a kid just in HD. Then there's the commercials, that kills, it's unwatchable to me.

in 2021, I flat out refuse to watch commercials outside of live sports. this eliminates live tv for me.

Broadcast TV doesn't try anymore. Back then, people would watch whatever you threw at them because there was nothing else. There are way more options on streaming.
