That's because you don't know what you're talking about.

Yes I do, you had no counter-argument to what I said. There's more movement on the court, but that doesnt mean that there hasn't been other things that have become less taxing on the body.

It is a fact that players have to cover more of court. Offenses move around more too. You cant just stand and dump to the post anymore. Plus guys shoot more threes, and you need your legs for that.

Plus most teams realize the regular season is a waste and theres no reason to burn guys out

Coaching has advanced.
They realized its better to rest players so they will have more energy in critical times than to play them out for 40+ for no reason but pride.

With the increase in 3-pt activity, players are forced to cover more ground to defend those shots (especially big men who never used to defend out on the perimeter as often as today) - same applies to the other end with players running further out to the 3-pt line. This of course ties into the fact that today's offensive systems are more complex, with more moving parts too. You don't just have 1-2 players on one side of the floor in the play, while everyone else stands around - today everyone is moving, all the time.

I honestly don't know why basic ass shyt like this needs to be stated.

The post-Jordan era was the slowest the league has been, and today's league has more talent than before so coaches can afford to give their stars 12-15 minutes off instead of 8.

That’s another big key. Good teams are much deeper now so they don’t have to play guys as much these days. Shaq and kobe both averaged about 40-41 minutes per game on the 2000-01 lakers and their third leading scorer was Derek fisher for the last two title teams while he averaged around 11 points. This isn’t the case anymore since the league caught up with its expansion.
