Atlanta isn't a sports town. And if you are a multimillionaire it's pathetic to believe only one city can have fine bytches and parties around you.
False

No tradition or history.Never been in the ATL other than an airport, but Sports seem secondary :manny:

Is it though? UGA Football has the most fans by a wide margin. The Falcons are second and everything else is a distant third. Thank God we have a MLS team now. The only ATL team i'm allowed to support.

Kind of hard to argue this isn't a sports town. WHAT sport is has the biggest following/passion is a different story.

Its all relative is the point though. Atlanta is a sports town sure, but then you've got places where the fans give as much a shyt about their college football as they do their basketball and football teams. Both collegiate level and professional. Atlanta doesn't have that passion across the board some other big sports cities do. :yeshrug:

Nikka just said FALSE. Didn't provide any information to back up his statement or discredit mine

Atlanta is NOT a SPORTS TOWN! The HAWKS game is just the fuggin club for the whose who of Atlanta to be seen and the HAWKS will always get more love than the Falcons cuz people can't be seen on the 50 yard line on TV and the Jumbotron vs Court side next to the bench.

Again depends on how you categorize it. If you think college football isn't followed as passionately in Atlanta and any other sport in this country then you are kind of tone deaf to that part of the cites sports culture which is unique in the country.

Unless you live here and understand the culture of college football the burden of proof is on you not me fam

Those are the only sports played or followed in the city? Of course you said sports not, professional sports only..............

You misread what I said. I was saying the college level passion (really just for UGA Football) is disproportionately skewed in ATL. NBA/MLB is not a big draw in this city.

I don't disagree but in the next sentence you said Atlanta doesn't have the passion of other cites which unless you are isolating down to purely professional sports I believe that to be false.

Nah I think you just took it wrong. I was just pointing out that there are cities out there who ride for both their local college sports team and their big 3 pro teams more than ATL does.

Name cities where they support both in combination that reasonably out ranks Atlanta.
