RG3 would have been my black champion if he didn't privilege dopey white women, dismiss McNabb and refuse to amicably accept the black QB label. For me a ideal black QB is professional, doesn't privilege white women, takes black QB's advice (regardless of helpfulness), challenges the white orthodoxy and wins*. This is a difficult standard to reach, and neither Wilson nor RG3 nor Cam meet requirements. That said, some reach more than others.

Cam is the closest thing to my all-time favorite QB Steve McNair for me.

people don't realize how good of a passer McNair was in his era. Russell Wilson was the first black QB with the highest passer rating since McNair.

His grandfather was the president of Norfolk State. His dad is an Ivy league educated lawyer and also was briefly signed in the NFL. His mom is an educated professional as well.

Anybody hating on Russell Wilson is a clown because he's black excellence personified.
