the "that's that ******" video is so fukkin funny :russ:

what's funny is, being raised in a jamaican household, which usually means gettin drilled by the white man's books, i had trouble sayin the word too when i started to make aa friends.

i would either say nigg ahh on some weird ass patois shyt, or take the well read racist sounding route n sound even brazier :snoop:

look man, this city is flodded with Jamaicans, and many from the Caribbean so this city has become a melting pot for caribbean culture and its spreads across the GTA in many black communities.

we didnt necessarily have this large of a music scene until the past 3-4 years but everyone here pretty much talks in faux patois, its just common place for slang down here

I would be mad at drake but he's not the problem. Toronto has Asians, Indiana, whites and even Arabs using patois. It's kinda the same way everyone adopts/copies slang created by African American in USA. :hubie:

I'm discovering most popular phrases credited as Toronto slang really comes from carribeans in London :whoo:

Drake made it trendy though, ya get me? :heh:

A lot of cultures don't mind and admire when people use the patois, especially if its an inclusion to the pop culture world. He's putting dudes on the map and shouting out legends. Can't hate on him for that....when Snoop literally tried to ride the wave and shout out no one...

Snoops whole image is based around smoking weed. So when he became a Rasta for a few albums there was that common marijuana denominator :manny:

Plus snoop has dreads:leon:

And he's Black :hubie:
