Why exactly should Palestine vs. Israel define the 2028 primary?

so if that issue was a total wash, the obvious choice would have been to support Biden, to stop Trump from taking power

thanks for proving my point :salute:Lose For Palestine was retarded and counterproductive
Not how it works, dummy. People get disgusted and turned off by the spectacle of voting for getting stabbed or getting shot, so they just disengage. Voting is not compulsory.

First question: how do you feel about your new sweetheart Shapiro not featuring in the top 5 of preferred presidential candidates by Americans in any recent credible poll?

They got him behind Newsom, Buttigieg, AOC, and Harris, and Gallego?

That must hurt :pachaha:

you think you're dunking on me, by pointing out that the Dem base would nominate Kamala and Buttigieg over Shapiro?
if that poll is accurate, the Democratic party is finished nationally :yeshrug: the 2030 census is the nail in the coffin, as far as ever winning the electoral college again

i think this is the part where i ask "who do you want to run in 2028", and you don't answer out of shame/embarrassment?

good, so stop crying about how Trump is deploying ICE :ehh:

if you were indifferent to him running on it last year, then shut the fukk up about him actually doing it this year. see how that works?

A total wash as in both sides being the same on the issue?

Despite what you acknowledge as a terrible mistake?

I agree. If only Kamala could run back the presidential election (she can't), maybe she would try not to Lose for Israel a second time :wow:
Palestine is a bottom 100 issue for most American voters in 2028. nobody gives a fukk :yeshrug:

you're pretty much proving my point. the fact that you want to make the 2028 election a referendum on Palestine is absolutely insane, and just not the move of people who are serious about winning the electoral college. Vance/Rubio it is, i guess

Sad!

:dead:
and then the shythead responds with an AI overview :mjlol:

completely shameless

Another reason to hate Reagan. That retard with that hoof shaped dent in his cranium would be in an asylum, restricted from vomiting what's left of his brain in Higher Learning

If Buttigieg (more likely to win the nomination) gets defeated, he will NEVER forgive the party for nominating him. He won't bash bigoted voters who decide to not vote for Buttigieg because of his sexual orientation, because what do you expect, you have to go with what the electorate wants right?

If Shapiro was to lose because of his IDF background and his refusal to pull Israel in line, well...

The reason you keep trying this stupid bit and failing is because unlike people like you who vote based on how tall, white and handsome someone is, progressives actually have policy beliefs, so they're not going to preemptively back someone without knowing what policy platform they're running on.

The answer to your question is "whoever authentically runs on the most progressive platform". I know that answer is unsatisfactory to you because all you want to do is play fantasy football with politicians, but it's the answer of someone who takes the political process seriously.

so you're just waiting around for someone to offer meaningless lip service, and promise a bunch of free shyt. like mamdani is :mjlol:

when he doesn't actually deliver what he promised, can we circle back to how dumb you look?

"running on policy" is utterly meaningless, without winning the fukking election. which progressives just haven't mastered

I'll humor you.

Buttigieg, AOC, Shapiro, Beshear... No

Newsom, Whitmer, Gallego, Murphy... Any of these I'd be fine with

I'm also certain a name we aren't looking at yet will come out of the bushes and be a serious contender in the primaries, similar to how Obama was the outsider in 2005-06.

Similar to the voters who wouldn't vote for a gay man (that you completely understand), I have my red lines. Unfortunately for you, Israel is one of them. Israel lover? Forget it, they'll have to make do without my vote.

No. That's also not how it works. Your ability and right to voice a political opinion isn't unlocked by engaging in the electoral process.

if you were indifferent to him running on it last year, then shut the fukk up about him actually doing it this year. see how that works?
I don't know any progressive who was indifferent to Donald Trump. So no, I don't see how that works.

Oh but didn't you hear, he actually doesn't care for either side, he's definitely not nursing a white colonizer affinity with Israel as they get rid of the godless mooslem hoard :hubie:

i don't care if Buttigieg pitches or catches; what the fukk is his record, exactly? he's a small town mayor, who got put on the 2020 debate stage because he was gay. he got appointed Secretary of Transportation because he was gay, where he did a mediocre job at best. why the fukk is that indicative of a guy who can win the electoral college?

I think saner minds would call this not precommitting to support a candidate without knowing what they're running on, but I can understand that for someone like you for whom discussing actual policy is above your cognitive paygrade it seems silly to not boil it down to which person is going to activate your latent desire for a strong father to defend you against your own fears.

when he doesn't actually deliver what he promised, can we circle back to how dumb you look?
The whole point of electoral politics is to keep pushing the rock up the hill. Disappointment is baked into the equation. You're supposed to be picking the best person to be disappointed by.

finally, someone who answers a simple question :blessed:

-the governor of california is not a better choice than the governor of PA. awful choice, imo
-fukk running a woman
-gallego and murphy are good choices :yeshrug: i'd definitely support them

He's polling much better and has more visibility currently. Shapiro looks... timid, just going with the flow?

I do know that if Newsom makes it they will hammer him hard on homelessness and COL and taxes in California. He better have a story that sticks, otherwise it's President Vance. I don't think Shapiro has that baggage, but IMO he doesn't have the IT factor. Yet, at least.

Truth be told I'm not too impressed by the field in general, which is why it's open for an outsider to take the horns and win this with the right energy, words and policy
