Even aritst from other parts of the Nation....... mainly Cali.... were dropping the 'terms' in music too.

Even midwest like Chicago and especially Detroit.

and even some southern artist who weren't even associated......... would drop the terms..

And when I look at the transition of the Music...... I notice other patterns.

For example : politically minded rappers like Immortal Tech... not affilitated with NOI, 5%, or any spin off group............. Still drops the 'terms'....

As do most artist who 'kick knowledge' or say anything conscious or aware in their rhymes.

Nas never been NOI but made a dedication song to FArrrakhan.

But whatever,.... Why would that all decrease , but pro homosexual references in hip hop increase... and why would more so called 'christian ' terms increase?

In music though and were well known? I'd be hard pressed to name acts from Chicago and Detroit in the late 80's early 90's let alone that went into some 5% Islam knowledge. Common, Twista besides that?

California always had it's own thing going on.

Think you're going to need to drop some lyrics and names breh in regards to other regions...

The thing with immortal tech is he grew up in the city and is in the age group that's familiar with and grew up on it.

Rakim, Nas, Kool G Rap, Wu, all of the early guys in the NY scene always spoke 5% whether being affiliated or out of respect. 5% were power in the streets and in jail.

I think when power shifted away from NY, southern hip hop(ignorance), the rise of MTV, rise of pop/bling hip hop, changes in audience, and the time passing from when 5% teaching were prominent all contributed in a decline in conscious/5% type music.

I'll blame the rise in "homosexual" rap on the cac b*stard from your city. For the most part "gay rap" it doesn't exist... although I find southern rappers 'questionable'...

Most black people in this country are Christian unfortunately so that would certainly explain a rise although I rarely find hip hop to be actually religious.

Gang violence...
it has very little to do with 9/11 and almost everything to do with bad boy records changing what the definition of king of new york is, and then the rise of the southern rapper shortly after that. that extremely commercial lane that notorious big created inspired most other prominent NY MCs to talk less philosophy and more about business. big died and jay z took that lane as far as it could possibly go and others copied him hoping it would work for them too. unfortunately for them, the south had the beats that people want to dance to, so they shut new york down almost completely in terms of radio play. now new yorkers hear more southern rap on their own radio, so the NY kids are being influenced by the south and want to be just like young thug. this all means the culture of the south has spread and you hear it in the type of god they worship or pay lip service to.

Cause Islam requires discipline and the rappers post-2000 rather party, use false stories of street life, and hate pro-black opinions and music. There is a reason why the NOI and 5%er rappers disappeared from the mainstream and there is a reason why 90s and 00s kids rather hear simple rhyme southern inspired music in clubs with the women.

The music business is run and exploited by zionist jews.
All of the Muslim and 5%ers were consciously pushed out of it or disinfranchised.

White music labels putting their foot down and censoring black rappers.

Interesting how everything ties back to the lack of a black economy.
