Why has Jordan's supporting casts gotten so overrated?

They still had two more games to close it out and didn't (sounds like the Warriors in the 2016 Finals ) :patrice:

Breh without that call the bulls take a 3-2 lead. That wasn't like the warriors in 2016....hue called a foul with 2.1 seconds left in game 5 at NYC. With the bulls up by 1.

The bulls go home and play game 6 and blow out the knicks to tie the series at 3-3. So they actually didn't have 2 more games to close it out.

Last this was in the 90s where no teams (except houston in 95) would win a road game 7. Unlike today road teams actually almost never got calls in game 7s. That is why until the 2000s (lakers vs kings in 2002) only 3 road teams had won game 7 on the road since 1978 (76ers in boston 1982, bullets over sonics 1978 and rockets over suns 1995).

Dudes always bring up Pippen but Dennis Rodman was one of the most talented basketball players from that generation and never gets the credit for it.

This is true....from a defensive stand point he and lebron are the most versatile defenders I have ever seen.

Originally coming into the league rodman guarded PGs, SGs and SFs. But as he got older and stronger he could guard PFs and Centers.

Plus his basketball IQ was off the charts. As good as a rebounder and defender he was..... he was arguably just as good as a passer. He could throw outlet passes, touch passes, bounce passes and pass out of double teams.

You got to see the 1991 Finals highlights from that year too :wow:

93 was even better highlight wise. Pip was an even a better scorer (shooter and slasher) and MJ had mastered the post game where he was at his peek athletically and could post up to put kats in the chamber or put the ball on the floor and penetrate. Doing all this without having to conserve energy like he had to during the second 3 peat.

Right. People don't talk about how much he meant to his teams offensively also. He didn't look to score but the other things he did on the offensive end of the court was big.

Pippen did a better job on Magic in the 1991 finals, Pippen also outscored Jordan in the closeout game.....

Pippen led the comeback in game 6 of the 1992 finals .......while MJ was on the bench, let it be someone else all you'd hear is he got "saved"

IT CANT BE "SAVED" WHEN YOU HAVE A 3-2 LEAD IDIOT.

UNLIKE SOME OTHER PLAYERS
MJ NEVER FACED ELIMINATION IN THE FINALS
SO HE WAS NEVER "SAVED"

Let me ask you brehs.

What team from this year's NBA could beat the 2003 Kings? or the 95 Magic squad?

I don't believe any team in the league this year could beat the 92 Bulls or 92 Trailblazers team in a 7 game series

That game 6 was an amazing game....probably the biggest game Stacey King and the bench players up to that point ever played as bull players. He and the bench brought the team back.

Always gave it to Phil he would pull a popovich if his starters weren't playing well. Or call a time out and say yall asses need to figure this shyt out and walk away from the huddle.

More like underrated... Cats act like Scottie was Stromile Swift and shyt.

The worm is also massively disrespected, as is everyone else on the team. MJ's amazing team that won all those fukking games in a single season is suddenly trash because thats the only thing that fits the anti lebron Narrative.

How the fukk could a trash team win all those games? They held the record until Golden State came along. But they trash tho.

The magic and Sonic in 96 were stacked as fukk
Yeah, but the Magic were severely banged up and injured in ‘96 for the ECF (Grant, Anderson, Shaw, Koncak). Shaq and Penny were dolo.

And Jordan’s ‘96 Finals weren’t that good and he could have arguably lost the series if Payton was on him from jump.
