I didn't say it was easy. But, you figure someone would've tried developing it since his retirement almost 30 years ago.
But none of KAJ's contemporaries were able to develop and master the Sky hook during his whole career either, and professional sports is a notorious for having a copycat syndrome.
So really, in the whole history of the NBA only one man was able to effectively use the sky hook. That should tell you something.
I think many big men have tried. shyt is way too hard. The sky hook is a calculus of coordination, timing, muscle memory, and skill.
KAJ, while in his 40s, was an integral player in the laker's championship winning teams during an incredibly competitive era of b-ball. He is arguably the GOAT and aint no one seeing him. KAJ made the sky hook, not the other way around.
