Speaking of that I been meaning to ask you breh, how did H-town feel about SPM was he was about to blow? I knew some rappers fukked with him like Flip, but I never knew how majority of city felt about him. Was he accepted or no one really fukked with the dude like that?

I'm more curious cause i know he dropped the N-word in his raps a lot but I never heard stories of him being checked like that and people in South Park fukked with the dude heavy and he got a pass that way.

SPM would have and should have been that mainstream or just an overall respected star. He didn't sound like a cholo rap and he definitely had skills and made well crafted tracks and albums. We all know his story and right when he was starting to make noise on a national level he got popped. It's a damn shame cuz he could spit and imo was the total package.

Yeah that shyt was popular and not even his best effort. Power moves and hustle town were better. Never Change as well, that Time iz money album got him in the source and xxl but was one of his weaker albums. But yeah he was doing huge numbers.

think about it...he was eatin when pen n pixel was around...so the graphics was cheap...n southwest wholesale was around..meanin he was gettin 100,000 cds pressed up for little under 200 dollars....that was jus out his own pocket..n if he had an account..he had access to sam goody circuit city..wherehouse blockbuster and all the other accounts that came with southwest
