It's a little late to be destroying and repairing somebody's shot years into the league, especially in the case of Noah. Besides, Noah has a decent enough jump shot (accuracy wise) and he's a big man anyway.

There's a lot of guys with garbage ass forms who were great shooters. If you put enough time into your shot you can become a great shooter. Look at Reggie Miller's form and he's arguably the greatest shooter of all-time. Jamaal Wilkes had a weird ass form and was a deadeye shooter. For as garbage as his shot looks, Shawn Marion has always been a pretty decent shooter.

Kidd Gilchrist can afford to completely destroy and rebuild his shot though, seeing as he's complete garbage right now anyway. But really, he could also just keep his form and practice more.

I see what you're saying, but I'm still disturbed by Noah shooting off his thumbs. Shawn Marion at least has proper form he just doesn't extend on his release which makes it look weird.
