do you know about contracts???? if someone is making 15 mil this year... instead you restructure that deal.. giving him 8 this year and 9 the next... so you don't get back to that 15 mil until 5-6 years down the line... at which point you drop his ass and save money, or restructure it again. look at vick... that 100 mil is gone up in the air.. he was never gonna get it.. they was either gonna drop him or he'd restructure.. but they'd never actually pay the full amount.... so no... you actually help your team in the now

and can you name the other rb available that is still running for 1000 yards every season?? do you know who frank gore is??? do you know how many full seasons he's completed?? do you have full faith in our backup to carry the load ALONE?? i sure don't

but i'll bet ANYBODY... S jackson will be a top 10 back next year... i promise you this...

you do realize when you cut people you still taking cap hits, so its not that easy to just cut someone or restructure their contract. If it was that easy, it would happen to every player who had a bad year.


when rb's get old they go downhill real fast. LJ is the future. He is gonna take more of gores pt this year. Makes no sense to bring s jax in.


yea the niners brought people in but they all wanted way to much or they would have signed. Aldon was also playing with a torn labrum, meaning he couldn't get extension, so he cant get off blocks to get hurrys and sacks


a safety and a 3-4 de will be drafted with the first 2 picks

we didnt have money to sign sjax, nor do we need another RB. our run game is great as it is. this line makes dixon look good.

lol I ain't a Niner fan breh by any means. But, come on, he had no chemistry or hardly any other talented players around him. He can still be good in press man coverage and is still a physical corner. He has lost a step on press man. He has never been good off-coverage. Honestly, its just commitment and his technical skills with Nnamdi, since his speed and athleticism isn't there. But, Charles Woodson was a bit similar once he went to GB from what I remembered, and lost some of his speed and athleticism early on, but he became a great technically sound defender. And if there is a best team for him to get him to have that commitment, its Harbaugh

woodson is a perfect example of everything you just said, ill never forget that 2007 season when he debuts in greenbay because he was not very well liked in his final years in oakland, but he improved drastically and won a damn superbowl. he was getting lit up badly every other play in oakland.
