Nobody said every game is tremendous....

This has more to do with the fact that NFL has been more entertaining than CFB
Bills vs Dolphins was a better game than Penn State vs OSU in every single way you just don't have the ancillary things that come with CFB like Rankings, underdogs, upsets, rushing the feel etc.
sorry, I can't watch Bills vs Dolphins....I live in Dallas. And I'm not about to pay $250 for some Sunday Ticket package just to watch POTENTIALLY 1, decent NFL game.
