They need to just go ahead and give Marvel FF4 so Doom can be done justice. Lord knows Fox can't get it right.

Hopefully Fox lets the F4 rights expire and they get back to Marvel or maybe they might do a similar deal with Marvel like what happened with Sony.

The big difference though is that the Amazing Spider-Man 2 wasn't a bomb, it just wasn't well received criticality and could have done better at the box office. The F4 films have been pretty bad, especially the latest one. Fox lost close to $100 million on that.

So really Marvel doesn't have any incentive to cut a deal with Fox like they did with Sony since the brand of F4 in film has been tarnished. Marvel can wait them out.

Fox should keep X-Men though. It's interesting though that DOFP was the first big money maker of the X-Men franchise and that was the 7th film in the series.

Nah - I'm pretty sure it goes by which title the characters made their debut in. Thanos is MCU. Galactus is tied into F4 as is Silver Surfer, The Skrull and Annihilus.

Getting a Spider-Man deal for Fantastic Four would open up a bunch of stuff for Marvel/Disney. Particularly for Captain Marvel and an Inhumans movie if they put it back on the slate.

Even then, they stated the X-Men and FF exist in different worlds, so they would've had to do some interdimensional traveling for that. Fox always making it more complicated than it has to be.
