Yep I remember that. 2004. He said if he could do beats for anyone it'd be Jay, and he would like to do some hard beats for him because "Jay is big enough where he could bring that sound to the front." Hav also said he'd re-do the Quiet Storm beat if he had the chance. Scratch magazine was great!

By the way, Alchemist has never done a beat for Jay-Z either, although Jay-Z got 6 but I guess the check bounced? Back in 2001 Jay-Z told Al "you're playing for the wrong team". I don't know if that was serious or a joke, because he also later said that Hold You Down was a dope song even though it used the Soon You'll Understand sample for Prodigy.
