2Pac on 'Hit 'Em Up' said 'biggie smalls and junior mafia some MARKED ass bytches" but this was cali/pimp slang ("trick ass marks, mark ass tricks, skip scap skanks and skallywags" from dave chappelle's playa hater's ball and late 90s pimp documentaries, etc) and before it was widely documented on lyrics websites and people often misheard 2Pac say "MONKEY ass bytches" instead on that record, including 50 cent, who said "I'll clap your monkey-ass" on "Piggy Bank" off the strength that he probably misheard 2Pac said those words, but 50 probably meant to say "I'll clap your marked ass" channeling that 'hit em up' diss energy instead had he and everyone else heard 2Pac clearly and understood what labeling people as "marked" meant for diss song lyrics to contain that effect
