In my experience if you not competing or just oblivious then you get picked on/become a target. As early as 5 I dealt with girls like that. Even adults getting between their daughters and being messy. Not all women are like that though. But whereever you go, school, church, work etc.. there will be at least one. Then you have just the general competitiveness women have.
