There is a thread, and I encourage you to peep it, it's stickied. I hope this post from that thread inspires...

So, when this topic was brought up months ago in another thread I said I'd do it. Then didn't think much of it. Wasn't going round telling people of my decision.

After the Cutler signing I saw that the black ball was real and it's time to act. So I make a passionate Facebook post explaining why I've decided to boycott. Basically saying if they are going out there way to not hire him because of his stance, then that message is dangerous and had the potential to spill into other areas. Basically, what's the difference between Kappernick and Jackie Robinson. This is the evolution of that exact type of racism.

So as a black man, in this country, with kids of my own who are now teenagers.

I'd be a fukkin c00n if I watched, I wouldn't give a damn about the safety of my own children if I did. Kap being signed in a Tim Tebow fashion would result in a continued boycott by me. So I don't anticipate this being a short protest :to:

The responses I got on Facebook was telling but expected, and yet not what you would expect most likely. See, I'm currently in the early stages of writing a book about my experiences growing up black in America, living in good areas and hood areas. So I've already asked white people I know certain questions and got similar answers in the past.

So, the white guy I'm talking about is married to a black chick and they got kids together. His response (1st responder mind you) was how he wasn't joining me in my protest. I let him know I wasn't doing it for me, but for his kids. He basically tried to downplay the effectiveness of my tactics and suggested Kap shouldn't do what he did on company time, should have did it during trump protest/etc. BULLshyt basically. Went in on how kap was wrong for this, That. I'm like :gucci:

The next responder was a Spanish guy who is also married to a black chick. He let's me know he's gonna watch and that I should let God handle that. I had to key him know if black peopledid that we'd still be slaves today. Reminded him how we both got hemmed up numerous times together unjustly. And that his kids are subjected to the same scrutiny. He fell back but still will watch.

Now, as I stated I have seen this attitude a decade ago. There is a disconnect because of pure ignorance to how serious this is, how often it happens. Everyone has become desensitized to it, we all know it exist, but feel like it's not happening elsewhere instead of everywhere.

That disconnect is what Dr.Umar was talking about On the breakfast club :francis:

Since that post, a few other people have come forward and joined me. I then noticed it is becoming the trendy thing to do. So expect results, I hope you do join the cause be it because you a real one or you a trendy casual :handshake:

There are non blacks that feel because they sleep with black women or listen to hip hop that they do not contribute to systemic racism. As long as it is not overt, they're ok with it. They are used to black people being treated unjustly, it's the norm. But those same people will criticize blacks for take no a stand as well. This is today's racism. I'll call it passive racism. Acknowledging it exists but can't be bothered to do anything about it.

What's worse is I see a lot of black people doing the same thing ie: NFL players

Y'all dudes are funny as hell.
How so?
@PS4 barely even post on NFL games. He's a redskin fan, a team that sports a racist name to begin with :scust:

id boycott that shyt too
The Redskins are deemed racist by the same institution that implemented racism in the first place. I've stated before that Redskins along with the word ****** is a Jedi mind trick. Spanish people don't often use the term ****** because it sounds too much like the word Negro aka black. I'm all about origins of things, what were the slaves called when they first arrived? And have you ever heard of the prominent Naga tribe? Could they possibly referred to the slaves as nagas which eventually turned into ******?

Wait :stop:

Let's add "ignorant" to the meaning and say since they was slaves they really was some dumb, stupid, ignorant monkey ******s :scust:

White people did not make up the term Redskins. There was a tribe located near Chicago who wore red warpaint All the time. Once they got into a beef with some white folk is when that term was deemed a negative.

The Jedi mind trick is to get you to hate yourself. Feel free to prove me wrong, I thirst for knowledge :handshake:

Finally, the Redskins should be a decent team this year but I have no desire to watch. There is nothing the NFL can really do to change how I feel because I know for a fact HOW THEY REALLY FEEL. A league of Donald Sterling's. They gotta feel it in their pockets for this. But they won't feel it because the tv deals are guaranteed...
i already cancelled my nfl sunday ticket, and will NOT be buying madden 18 this year...
I got Madden for free, but won't play it

I didn't pick up a new sport because of it :francis:

Now I'm going to assume you are about to go the "you think other sports owners aren't just as racist?"

Perhaps, but the answer isn't to just assume everyone is. To co exist in this world you gotta at the very least give some things a chance. With that said, the NFL is doing something in response to what Kappernick did. And if you think about it, isn't this the league that has the Rooney rule in place because black coaches would routinely get Kappernick'd :jbhmm:

With today's climate being the way it is, this type of behavior cannot be tolerated.

Respect the architect, never test the Elohim :wow:
Watched the Cleveland/Saints game today and damn man. Football is a fundamentally flawed game without the storylines, I'll give em that. Me and my uncle were talking, IDK what the hell the NFL is gonna do to attract viewership intrigue wise.

Neutered the Cowboys
Patriots are prob going undefeated
Black players are half-heartedly playing right now, other half contradicting the system

NFC South might be carrying the league this year :picard:
