I'm back again.

Walmart has

Color of Space Steelbook (comes with blu ray disk and 4k Disk for $11.72 Robot or human? It's 11 bucks :yeshrug:

Alien 4K - $16.19 Apparently it's uncommon for it to go for under $20? Anyway, they was sold out on Amazon so I snagged it herehttps://www.walmart.com/ip/Alien-4K-Ultra-HD-DVD-20th-Century-Fox-Sci-Fi-Fantasy/120918545

I got some other stuff too, like Event Horizon, The Batman, Sleepy Hollow, The blade runners movies, EDIT: and Tenet, etc and $30 on a 4k of Trick R Treat, I didn't know they had it in 4k :damn::francis::mjcry:

Best thing I ever did was buy a Sony free region 4K player

Can watch all my blu rays, 4Ks, criterions, rare movies that region locked players can't play and the quality is better than any streaming site
This is the advice I give to anyone buying a player today. So many movies are available in other markets, you can't get here, or they are significantly cheaper. Also Sony 4k players do a great job of giving DVDs and Blu-rays a fake HDR upconversion that is very convincing.

Yes you will. It’s over

Dog

I bought Miami Vice on Amazon Prime and THE shyt WAS UNAVAILABLE TO STREAM DUE TO A LEGAL DISPUTE :wtf: :wtf:

That was the last straw for me. I started a 4k collection. Walked into a Barnes & Noble like “Damn This shyt Is Expensive”

Then i discovered Amazon…
Then I discovered all the 4k discount sites…
Then I discovered blu-ray.com

Now I’m a snob for the restoration quality & audio output :russ:

I have about 220 blu rays now and picking up shyt as it’s released & discounted

I MAY NEVER SEE ALL OF THESE fukkIN MOVIES MAN

I have a spreadsheet where I mark what I’ve seen and select the next at random

One night? Kickboxer
Next night? 1917
Next night? La Femme Nikita

Assuming you on some OLED/Mini LED shyt you wait till night time hit the blinds and enjoy

(Before anyone says anything, yeah, I have a VPN, and torrent software, and you know why. This isn't about that, I just wanted to get that out of the way) - Despite this. I still purchase content, part of resisting the below is making sure you support people that make content you enjoy, if you have the funds to do so.

Specifically, it's an external blu ray/dvd drive that can play and burn 100GB disc.

I don't know, I didn't like how some manufacturers were starting to phase out Blu Ray for streaming, even if it's because people are buying less blu rays, it feels like one big trap.

- We don't truly own digital content we purchase (You bought that digital movie on Amazon? Yeah, they can snatch that anytime they want)
- Pushing people to buy digital instead of physical
- Using the "Protect children from 18+ content excuse to get people to ID themselves on the net
- Stronger DRM being released every year

Kind of spur of the moment, I might not do anything with it, cause I'm not big on movies.

Like I'm just throwing a small stone at a tank to make myself feel better. :wow:

What is the name of the Blu Ray player you bought??

Sorry, I forgot I mentioned that in the OP. The thing I mentioned in the OP didn't work, and I left a bad review. (It only did blu rays and does not read 4k disc, I assumed it would because of the 100GB reference, but learning experience on my part) I'll edit that with an update.

I ended up buying a refurbished panasonic ub420 4k blu-ray player.

but I think I maybe should have went with the UB450, it's cheaper and does Dolby Vision.

I just have the player for now, I will have to get something to burn disk later.
