Watching the Afro Samurai movie (animated) thinking RZA blew his wad on Man With The Iron Fists when he should have tried to do something with this.
Why in the f*** didn't RZA make the AFRO SAMURAI live action movie instead?

RZA doesn't own the rights to Afro Samurai he only did the soundtrack.
I would imagine the creators of Afro Samurai could envision a big budget treatment of their work. RZA! Having the inside track with some Hollywood big shots could have connected the dots, maybe let them write and he direct. I'm gonna tweet him about this shyt.

probably a money issue for his first movie, cheaper to not have to option any property and split profit with the rights holder on your first low budget movie.
