I had a gay coworker who was real cool, not one of those flambouent types. The type you wouldn't even notice he's gay. he never really spoke openly.

So when i found out he was gay i busted out laughing, and by then we were cool enough to joke about it. And he lowkey dropped a line thatblew my mind a bit but is really obvious.

But then he was like think about it, you wake up and shower and head out. These women are showering, tweezing eyebrows, shaving facial hair, wearing special outfits that make them look more appealing in certain ways, after the eyebrows are shaped, they got make-up.

He was telling me an attractive male is very natural and actually attractive. He ointed to a shorty I was tryna smash, he was jsut like take away her weave, fake lashes, make-up, and tell me she's still a 7. He had a point.

Maybe it has something to do with females being held to higher standards of beauty than males. Women are expected to be perfect, men are excused for being imperfect.

i have never in my life even had this thought cross my mind nor do i agree with it on any level, because men aren't attractive to me, and at no point are they 'naturally more attractive' than women to me. as a straight man.
if i were a gay man or bisexual then i'd have reason to agree with it, but on a very basic heterosexual level it's wrong and inaccurate. unless you find men attractive to begin with, then it makes perfect sense.
