Must be how we were conditioned but majority of our other African brothers and sisters are heritage first , African second. Rather that be Dominicans, Eritreans, Jamaicans , Nigerians don't even matter. AAs are the only ones who don't claim our land/ heritage first to differentiate.

Nope it'll be like us saying we are Americans that happens to have African heritageIf someone (like me for example) who doesn't "know" their distinct heritage says "African American"...isn't that putting your heritage (African) before your nationality (American)?
