To quell the ADOS movement:yeshrug:

The ADOS movement?

"… at the heart of the teeth gnashing are Paul’s racist newsletters and their import. For me, this would be a much tougher nut to crack if structural and/or cultural racism were still the most heinous defect in the American body politic. But in a country where indefinite detention just became the law of the land, it’s not. In a country where unmanned American drones are killing innocent children abroad, it’s not. And in a country where mortgage scammers are protected from prosecution while Americans are being foreclosed on in record numbers, it’s not. Sorry black folks, but race and racism are not the biggest issues of the 21st century and to imagine otherwise is to conflate the issue and put the needs of your community ahead of the needs of America in particular and the global community in general. In that way, it’s a selfish usurpation of the political agenda to placate the few, and it shouldn’t be tolerated by black people of conscience."

Yes, they're such a threat!
They got reparations popping as a major topic for 2020 candidates :sas1:

 @ you thinking it's a coincidence that Sharpton pops up once ADOS shut down Kamala Harris and Corey Booker as potential presidential candidates for 2020. Got BET doing town hall meetings to talk to black people about how we feel and you HL clowns wanting Biden racist behind to run and get slaughtered by Trump in 2020. Yeah, I'm sure a media who went out of their way to call ADOS "Russian Bots" don't think of them as a problem and don't want to co-opt the movement.. :duck: Stick to Israel shilling, bruh. :camby:

You're dumber than I thought if you believe that.
Unfounded conspiracy.
I don't support Biden.
The media talks about ADOS? News to me.
I don't give a shyt about Israel, I just don't support committing genocide the way a lot of posters here do.
Suck a dikk.

Sounds like watching other groups put their interest first... and receive tangibles, while blacks were being murdered on camera and openly oppressed changed her thinking on this.

... add to that the continued decline in black wealth after 8yrs of a black president, and a new perspective is more than reasonable.

:yeshrug:

Glad she’s on the frontline of the reparations movement now:obama:
Need more of the black intelligencia to wake up and get on board.

Like I said, I don't remember him getting this much facetime in 2012 or the last 10 years before that. It seems like he has a lot more sway among the candidates than usual. That's all.

I guess if he's seen as the Last Mohican then so be it.

I prefer him over Mr Blue Vest

100x.

That reads fair to me.

Tahisi Coates is the #1 reason that reparations is popping as a topic again, and others who were saying NOTHING about it before he created the conversation are just riding his shine. And there ain't shyt that's gonna happen with reparations among Democratic candidates in 2020. Who you riding with?

Your last sentence doesn't make no kind of sense. :why:

1st to put it in a mainstream publication. Sure. It was in the June 2014 issue of the Atlantic. The #1 reason though? :patrice: Yvette and Tone still hold that title. #ADOS and #Reparations became truly mainstream because of them.

:yeshrug:Already has...
A conversation always comes first, and the conversation has started.

Socialized healthcare still hasn't happened and its been around for at least 3 elections. Lets apply the same commitment/attitude to reparations:obama:
:mjpls:or nah?
