Watch any video of Tim Duncan or someone and the comments are full of ppl succn him off for being an all time great as well as being so humble and quiet

I mean that’s cool and all but a confident player like Kobe or Iverson is just as respectful to me

We aren’t talking about ppl who made a one hit song or got a lucky break in Hollywood

These are atheletes, literally been in top human shape their entire lives and made it to the pinnacle of talent in their profession AND dominated them too

Who cares if they aren’t “humble “? As long as they’re respectful what’s the problem

Americans probably care the least from an outsiders perspective

American Sports in general is over the top and grandiose, which I love

White people say that because they are racist.

What does quiet cocky look like?
I talk more online than in real life with most people, but I'm proud and will not suck up or kiss white ass or pretend to like some white or non-black bullshyt because it's politically correct, like some of my colleagues. I'm confident in what I know and will not hesitate to challenge an error. I'm always polite because I was raised well, but I won't back off unless we agree to disagree or you prove that I'm wrong. Sidney Poitier and Malcolm X are both in my soul.

They recognize these athletes are physically superior and well paid but they rather not get their faces rubbed in it but obviously there is an American racial component to it just see Mayweather vs McGregor where most white people wanted Conner the Irish fighter to defeat Mayweather the American despite them having the same cocky money fighter heel gimmick.
