Because here, corporations are “people” and we have to protect their “feelings”(profits) at all costs. Unless they’re losing money, then they’ll just pass that onto the customer…

Here, we don’t actually care about the health of people, just pumping out the next treat at the lowest possible costs, with ingredients that are barely even food, if at all…so they can sell it to us at the highest price we will pay. No country is perfect but at least they don’t let food be the absolute death of their citizens :manny:

people like this have internalized science as anathema to christian beliefs. its fukked up but its what happens when you dumb down a country for 20+ years. they view "science" as some sort of atheistic 'religion' that requires belief. like if you dont believe in something, it cant happen to you. thats why measles are back.

these people should be handling snakes at a barn revival somewhere, not working in government. im talking super stupid. like i wouldnt be surprised if they saw the 'homo' in homogenized milk and thought it makes you gay.

i do think science and religion can coexist. just look at the islamic golden age as a historical example :yeshrug: but america has generated some of the most useless and low vibrational humans in human history. were not just cattle, we accept being cattle and pride ourselves on it. "america has its problems but i wouldnt wanna live anywhere else" etc. consume, work, reproduce, pollute, die.

weve been in a new dark age since 9/11. theres nowhere to go but down

Once Corporations won their "Civil Rights" in the late 1800s because of the Government (who everyone loves) gave them more rights than Humans, it was over for the average citizen

Fast food isn't health food in any country. Whether it's made with Red 40 dyes or natural juice coloring, it's still ultra-processed and not something people should eat regularly. We should be talking about how we can change our regulatory system from being so favorable to capital and their shortcuts. That's all worth discussing. But that doesn't mean we should be listening to people like Vani Hari. She has a documented history of spreading pseudo-scientific bullshyt.

When I was a teenager I spent 3 weeks in America and came back home fat, the portion sizes are insane and everything has fukking corn syrup.

Even in 2018 when I went to NY as a full grown man I couldn't finish like 90% of the stuff I ordered.

Dang..is the food over here that different? I've lived here my entire life and never been fat. And I eat fast food sometimes.

I think some people just feel a need to finish their plate or something. When I order out I don't even expect to eat it all at once...if I go to a restaurant I literally expect to take home leftovers. I think big portion sizes are good as long as you don't feel like you have to finish it all at one time. I'd rather get more for my money.
