OMG, this one saw me posting the history of Darfur and in response just repeated the exact nonsense I described while also dismissing the history of the conflict, like I mentioned that commonly happens.

In an earlier era Darfur had been one of Egypt's main trading partners—its sultan exchanged letters with Napoleon in 1798.
