Capital Punishment is actually an amazing album. For such a long album, theres no weak tracks. Pun goes in on every track even the R&B joints. Even the skits are hilarious.

like I said before his wife is probably the main reason

im 1000% certain Fat Joe would have miked the hell out of Pun debut and scrounged up old verses to make about a couple albums with famous guest

but she let anger get in the way of her husband legacy

What nobody want to admit is an A+ Pun verse is smoking basically everybody :yeshrug:

He could do those tough ass verses over RnB tracks, too. Perfect writing style to cross over with.

Pun could have a Canibus level of guest verse and still fit in a different genre of track. :mindblown: He had that remix with Ricky Martin, that joint with Brandy. Every verse is MONEY.

People give him his flowers. Might be a generational thing though. I mean the "older crowd".

It feels like his health came in the way of Yeah Baby being what it should have been. Still had som undeniable, classic joints though.

As far as posthumous albums, they did that Endangered Species one in 2001. Like someone probably already pointed out.

RIP to the legend Pun, one of the illest ever.
