Crypto seems to be all the rage but I typically encourage black people to do velocity banking to pay off their homes first before playing around with major investing.

Objectively speaking for as risky as an investment as it is, it's something you can invest in with no real barriers to you. There isn't the amount of gatekeeping like there is in the traditional stock market. Also unfortunately social media has helped instigate this magical thinking in Black men and women where you have this fantasy of financially going from zero to rich as oppose to just building up step by step like previous generations.
