It's too bad, the Johnny J vault is pretty full from what I understand.Probably Johnny J's wife
They were suppose to come out with a documentary years ago but nothing ever came out
I doubt anything of his will ever be released
I fukked with the last 2 Mo Thugs comps but definitely was disappointed that Poetic Hustlaz and Graveyard Shift weren't on them. They were basically Layzie Bone albums with a ton of features, which is still cool, Black Hole Of Watts was dope tho.
Absolutely and I LOVE that Poetic Hustla'z album. Never got around to II True...
Even the 2 Collection CDs have some gems, unreleased Eazy tracks, Bone had a helluva run. I've never heard the II True album but Poetic Hustlaz and the Graveyard bootleg were hard.
To be fair though Sin and Gates were still making music after Tombstone died and they're still on the second comp, I guess beef behind the scenes stopped them from moving forward. Either way I'd take Flesh and Layzies little brother heading up a group of newcomers and Layzie and dude from BHOW In a "super group" over the return of Powder P and Thug Queen.graveyard shift was over before the 2nd compilation even dropped, let alone the 3rd. half of the group died.
yea it was mostly about layzie and the desperidos "super group" he had going. but they were dope. and I liked the emmortal thugs too.
the II Tru album was much better than poetic hustlaz.
it was better than graveyard shift album too, altho graveyard shift was the group that was gonna blow up.
