Jackie is a singer/dancer with some martial arts skill.

Bruce was a legit practioner of various arts and even created his own style of fighting.

Not sure about Jet Li's background in fighting.

Chuck Norris is probably the best actor/fighter as he was a multi-time world champ in different disciplines. Ex-military (Air Force police officer...not surprised) and could actually fight, which is why Bruce casted him in movies. Don't like his politics but Carlos Ray was/is legit.

We would be treating jackie chan movies the way we treat bollywood action movies if it wasn't for Bruce.

Jackie is like Kane...he can be in Bruce's lane and do it well, but also versatile enough to be in other lanes like comedy action, police drama, fantasy, etc...

Nope. He is a great but he owe a lot to Bruce. It's often said the pioneers get forgotten over time. Bruce made the mold then Jackie broke it because he brought charm and humor to the genre post Bruce Lee when the whole Chinese industry was signing Bruce knock off actors. He is still the second best of all time. Bruce did a lot in a short time.

I like both but I prefer Lee's more serious style over Jackie's stunt centrict style.

Jackie's movies are easier to watch though since they are more modern.
