I don't agree with the argument that you have to be able to relate specifically to music. It's entertainment. You don't watch Star Wars, The Dark Knight, Breaking Bad or whatever thinking "damn this is good because I can relate to it." If movies only dealt with what the everyday person can relate to, they would be mostly garbage.

But I have never said Jay's Rae's Ghost or Nas music is trash. Eminem's music on the other, I just find it comedy rap. He's like that Al yanksomething dude. I cannot find myself bumping Eminem on the go or even at home. I did use to listen to Eminem, but when I was young.
