Brits do far more dry humour.

Yank humour (regardless of race/ethnicity etc) is far less dry.

when i say "dry", i really meant that as in lacking sauce or just plain lame, not really the actual type of "dry humor"

I know exactly what OP's talking about. It's hard to describe, but there's a certain style of comedy that's common among a lot of white people. It's like humor meant to get a response instead of a response.

Like this:

"Everybody say 'Go Yankees' when you see this message. "
