The nikka usage and bytch usage is not congruent. Secondly, it's not a thing for most BW anyway. They are calling each other sis, babe, bae, etc. Respectable people are not attempting to make bytch the new nikka for BW. Hell, I use nikka....it goes against some of my foundational opinions...but I do anyway out of habit.

Im not advocating nikkas go around randomly calling women bytches but women call each other that in a playful way all the time. Even gay nikkas do it. Talking to their homegirls like "shyt up bytch you naaasty" " I cant right now with you bytch lls" and its all laughs

I get it. The bytch shyt is new tho....girls calling each other that is about as old as Facebook video. Nikka been around.
It aint accepted like that regardless of the prevalence in some sub cultures. Trust me, I've heard it too. In my heart of hearts I wanted it to go away, because of situations where I would have to explain some shyt to somebody that would ask the question in the thread title.

Yeah it's older than I thought. I have my reservations with the term tho. I suppose the question now becomes what it always was inevitably going to become.

The term nikka was a close hold accepted term evolved among decades across the black populace. It's meaning was clear when endearing and we understand its history.
bytch has a definition also, is there a need to appropriate it for use "singularly" among BW? I would hope not. We some cool ass creative ass people, do we need to be so cool as to weave grime into our culture anymore than it already is? I would hope that a shift in culture would manifest that moved more towards the positive. There is push back from using queen and sister as terms...so I see the preference is leaning that way. I'm just talking tho.

Most AA women do not refer to themselves as bytches. Also when white people say most blacks refer to themselves as nikka is that going to be their pass?
