The person who will eventually defeat Cena for the U.S. title is going to get the rub of a lifetime.
Whoever beats Cena for the US Title :wow:

it's probly gonna be a heel through nefarious means though.

once that belt leaves cena's waist it becomes a regular mid card title again.

i just don't see him losing to clean to an up and coming fan favorite. he already did that for bryan and i don't see anyone with that kind of groundswell of popularity behind them right now.

I'm just glad he's out of the title picture :ahh:
Pretty much how I feel....:manny:

And being honest, this US Title run hasn't been bad at all...we've had some fun matches, and I like seeing matches between guys that because of card placement wouldn't usually meet. Also have had some good NXT introductions.

Shame that the Rusev burial is painting the entire run as awful.

His next run to overtake Flair's record is going to be fukking unbearable. So y'all better enjoy this why y'all can....

U.S. Open Cena has been probably the best thing going from an in-ring/long term perspective on recent WWE programming. I'm good with it. Hell, I wish he was doing it with the IC title because that belt is the one that really needs to shine.

Who do you guys think would finally beat Cena for the U.S. Championship? I think it's clear that he won't get pinned for it, but he'll get some stipulation where they can avoid doing that.

Personally I think it should be Roman, he has zero direction right now.

I personally believe Roman should have been in the Chamber and gone on to win the IC title, later losing it in February or some time after he won the Rumble (as I assume he's winning the WHC come Mania 32). As for who should beat Cena, well ...

Shyt, it might be Roman :patrice:

if people knew their wrestling history, they would know the lineage of the u.s. title.

having a main eventer carry it is common ettiquette historically.

They need to get rid of one mid card title and have some of the top guys and mid carders go after the remaining one.

theres too many people on the roster for them to be getting rid of anymore belts.

It'll have to be Roman once he gets through the locker room and finish with the NXT call ups and I think Roman might get the crowd back on his side if he cooks with a midcard championship for a moment (let's admit, he needs to work with somebody other than Kane and the Big Show at the moment and if he stays in the main event, that's all he'll work with and people are getting bored with that). He'll get a huge rub from Cena and I see Vince letting only Roman have that honor of letting him take it away from Cena.

It's too late.. The torch was already passed to Seth Rollins, and now he's running with it.
