Why is change hard to do?

Why is change so hard to do? Is it because we get in a routine lifestyle and we are afraid to venture away from it? Is it not worth the effort or the risk of failure? Do you need to see results regularly to justify your process of change? What changes to youself or anyone around you are you pursing?

Humans are creatures of habit. IMO Change is possible but it's harder with age because you're more comfortable and familiar with your life. I read somewhere that it takes at least 3 weeks to break a habit but I think it depends on what that habit is..

I tend to stress and worry a lot so I'm trying to think/be more optimistic but it's hard because I've been thinking this way majority of my life.

Yea. I've changed certain aspects of my life and reverted back to bad habits. I know it's bad for me but it's easier to give into convenience than control. Its something I'm trying to change about myself.

yup everyday i reflect on what lead with the mindset i have, i came to the conclusion its social conditioning...were conditioned to be slaves in this society so that the elite can control us
