Dude seemed to be one of the best on the mic back in the Attitude Era but dude has been borderline garbage ever since he came.
Punk was straight embarrassing him week in week out while Rock used to go back to the same old toilet humor jokes and catchphrases. This made me realize how good Punk is. I think he suffers on the mic when he's a face as he becomes over-reliant on breaking kayfabe but as a heel, he is one of the best Ive seen.
