I mean Punk is better but to me atleast R-Truth is one of the better talents they have and he actually did get over in that feud. But the difference is, gimmick aside, Punk has always been favored in the company, Truth really hasn't. So they were more or less using that as a filler feud to build toward Punk/Cena.
I agree w/ your post bruh the reason I brought up R-Truth was that he also complained about his status in the company, the fans, and Cena being the posterboy of WWE. If bending real life/kayfabe was such a surefire way to get famous then we would've had Summer of Truth instead. I mean since it's so easy and all.
I tried to find the promo but all I found was a video package of him and John Cena where he's telling the fans to shut up and how his rapping and dancing didn't make them like him. He wasn't breaking character from what I saw, nor was he doing a shoot, just turning heel.
