Nah he left cause he wasn't gettin that main event at Mania for like the 3rd year in a row no matter how many hissy fits he threw, that and there were reports last summer that the WWE was thinkin of not renewin his contract when it ended this summer so he decided to get on some "You can't fire me, I quit" shyt so his ego wouldn't get further bruised. I mean its bad enough thru all his overhyped runs he was still in the shadows of everyone from Cena and Orton to AJ and Eve, but to have them think so little of him they not only refuse to put him in main events of their biggest ppv but also let his contract run out and tell him "Best of luck in your future endeavors" would've been the ultimate ether.

I watched CM Punk's DVD and I say this partially from a place of familiarity and empathy: He's a paranoid, cynical person with a chip on his shoulder, his personality thrives on having someone to antagonize and feud with.
