I don't think either one of them are boring. They don't make tracks like Tom Ford or nikkas in paris but that doesn't mean they're boring. I think comparing Cole to Nas is already unfair anyway but if you must, then like Nas, he needs the right beats for him to really be complete. Nas will always be dope on anything he spits on but when he's on the right beats, it's a perfect combination and that's what Cole needs. Maybe he does need to stop producing his own stuff but I can't shyt on another SJU Alum

Cole can be boring, but he sounds nothing like Nas. Cole's problem is his production. He needs to stop producing all of his own stuff, it starts to sound to similar. Friday Night Lights was great because his lyrics and production met (obviously all of it wasn't his own production). He's talented but he let's himself "just rap" sometimes and lacks mic presence. Though I do appreciate that over some sounds and shyt Kendrick does half the time. That shyt irks me. Just rap, yes Rick Rubin.

Coles drums really suck. shyt sounds so safe aand almost like elevator music rap.Just too tame and laid back.
