Hell nah this ain’t true.

I went all the way to AP Calculus AB in hs.

Ya boy sat down for his first day of college trig and was looking like the Mr. Krab meme for the next 6 months :mjcry:
I struggled with simple shyt like making my own schedule. Realized I scheduled a class that ended at 9:50 and had to be on the other side of campus for my next class at 10

I don't think it is, for most people at least.
A lot of people are far more mature than they were in high school, and are also more motivated/more driven than they were in high school.
Personally, both were fairly easy for me, and I didn't change my study habits too much (after teaching for a year, my law school study habits are a dramatic shift from my college study habits), but a lot of people that weren't actually that bright in high school tried to slide through doing the same thing in college and I watched them drop out within a year. Two of them said it was "too hard." But they were just really lazy.

The Truth
Didn’t read everything but honestly, college was easier because i didn’t HAVE to fukk with many people

It’s like grown people HS.... BUT, doesn’t mean shyt if you not on top of your classes...

But take it from a nikka that CLEP’d 4 classes... college is just school without bullshyt

1. You are there by choice.
2. After your first two years or so you are studying what you are interested in.
3. Social life is better and isn't so dependent on cliques (it can, especially in Greek life, but all in all people hang out with whoever.)
4. There's more resources if you are struggling with a subject. Study groups, mentors, counselors, tutors, labs etc.
5. EVERYONE IS BROKE, so keeping up with appearances is a stress most people aren't thinking about.
6. You make your own schedule.
7. Extra-Curricular are actually substantive and add value to campus life and personal life.

College was probably the most fun I've had besides now. I feel like it was when I did the most growing, had the most life experiences and learned to wean myself off of my parents. Since my junior year of college I haven't asked my folks for shyt. I don't think I would have had as many life skills/social skills if it wasn't for living on campus and learning shyt on the fly.

I disagree.

I dont think I studied one single time in high school and I had a near perfect GPA.

Meanwhile in college my digital logic and differential equation homework took 20 hours a week. Thank God I was already good a programming or I would have had 0 free time.

I should point out that I went to an all boys post-military hs so I never had to worry about how I dressed or impressing females

As a computer engineering major I understand your pain 100%. Signals and systems took away my weekends completely.

I think the TS came up in an environment where he didn't have the resources that he has now (rowdy students, onry teachers, and no access to tutors).

College was way harder for me. AndI didnt really care in HS dispite being an A student. Was in advanced classes and hooped for the school.

College was a different story. The assignments took way more time, my tests were more tedious since they were multiple choice with 8 choices each questions. Finding acquaintances was super easy but real friends were hard to come by in college for me. Even though i was way more social, college kinda encourages you to keep changing your circle.

The only easier parts of college to me were: I didnt always have to go to class. Having study groups w/ classmates and making google docs before tests. The schedule was a breeze. Id get up at 10, class from 11 to 2/3 and be gucci for the day

Getting Cs isn't breezing homie
Yes it is when if i had put out some effort I prolly would’ve been on the honor roll. Hardly anybody in my school gaf and many didnt finish. My main concerns was selling weed and which sneakers I was gonna wear that day. Getting all Cs was easy

:why:

If you grew in an urban environment (as opposed to suburban), college is not an easy adjustment.

People like to look down on the hood like it’s a prison you need to escape. But what people don’t realize is that you’re actually in an insulated environment. You’re surrounded by your own people.

When you get out there in the real world to make something of yourself, you realize for the first time what “white supremacy” really is about.

I used to work corner store/neighborhood jobs all the time and if I don’t like something my boss said I would legit tell that nikka “fukk you” and walk out for the day fully expecting my job to be there tomorrow :mjlol:.

Mid level manager Todd without a college degree at all is telling you to come in for the 3rd Saturday in a row and you have to because you’re on salary. That’s a different type of pain my guy... :mjcry:
