Nurses are cool. Main thing is that if you have a spouse in a time consuming/demanding job, you need a job that's more chill or vice versa. Can't have both people in crazy azz jobs.

Wife's homegirl is a nurse but her husband has some kind of gig in software engineering. He can telecommute and pick up the kids from school, handle the soccer/hoops practices etc....it works for them.

Nah, I hardly ever make threads, but I probably could.

I lived in a house with three women. My fiancee, her best friend, and the aforementioned nurse, while we were all college aged. The house we were renting was big enough that everyone came over and kicked it at our house for the parties, kickbacks, etc.
