You tryna tell me Mind Freak wasn't lit? That Criss Angel didn't bring a whole new flavor to magic? :childplease:
There's almost a 10 year span between the artists setting up residency in Las Vegas.

Blaine came out in 97'

Criss not until 05'

Not to mention Blaine changed the way magic is viewed based on spectators reactions.

Almost a decade later Criss ran with the concept and that whole flavor was based on Street Magic.

You're right, but I meant Criss's style the whole goth thing was different. I always liked Blaine way better anyways.

All Criss really did was cater to the current generations Las Vegas spectators with stage magic on the street.

The reason why we liked Blaine was his direct opposite approach to practical street magic-from his monotone almost hypnotising speaking voice, to his expressionless face of concentration when observing your reaction(he wa acting at the end of the day, of course) he also went into the hoods, back streets, offices and shyt even locker rooms to fukk with people.

These two reminded me of the characters in the 'Prestige'.

One was looking to mystify his audience at any cost, and the other was looking for the next big trick.
