He hasn't even been bad this season. His scoring efficiency is lower because he's taking more threes. He's hitting close to 40% from 3 even though it's on low volume. Whoever wrote that tweet doesn't watch Blazer games he just box score watching. There is also no emergence of Clingan he can barely play 12 minutes a game

#1 picks usually have had higher usage than Ayton. You would have thought his usage would go up in Portland, but it's the complete opposite. He averaged just 5 shots in his last 2 games and wasn't even in foul trouble.

If they had faith in him, then they’d be giving him more run. Those issues that plagued him in Phoenix are carrying over to Portland.

If that wasn’t the case, then they wouldn’t have drafted his replacement.

He's 100% one of those guys that plays basketball because he's really tall and it pays incredibly well.

There is no reason that he should not be dominant. He's got a pretty decent midrange game, can be a good defender when engaged but he simply does not give a fukk. Zero aggression in his game
